French Toast: From Simple to Exciting Toppings!
Welcome to WESTERN COOKING IN PLAIN ENGLISH VIDEOS! In this video I've shown how to make 3 flavorful alternative toppings for French Toast that only require the following ingredients and pieces of equipment depending on your choice of topping:
French Toast with Cream Cheese & Jam
Ingredients - French Toast - Cream Cheese - Favorite Jam Equipment - Table Knife 1. Spread an even layer of cream cheese on a piece of French toast. 2. Top with a generous layer of your favorite jam.
French Toast with Whipped Cream & Bananas
Ingredients - French Toast - Whipped Cream - Ripe Banana Equipment - Sharp Knife 1. Squirt of "healthy" shot of whipped cream on top of a piece of French toast. 2. Top with sliced banana (and another quick shot of whipped cream if you like).
French Toast with Nut Butter, Yogurt & Fresh Fruit
Ingredients - French Toast - Nut Butter - Yogurt - Fresh Fruit (any kind - I'm using strawberries, peaches & blueberries) - Whipped Cream (optional) Equipment - Sharp Knife - Colander - Spoon - Table Knife
1. Rinse the fresh fruit in a colander under cold tap water.
2. Spread an even layer of nut butter on a piece of French toast. 3. Spoon on a healthy scoop on yogurt. 4. For stemmed fruit like strawberries, remove the stems with a sharp knife and then chop the fruit into smaller pieces. For fruit with seeds, like peaches, cut the fruit open, remove the seed and slice the fruit into smaller pieces. 5. Either serve as is or treat yourself with a good shot of whipped cream (optional).
