Quick Pan Fried Boneless & Skinless Chicken Thighs

Welcome to WESTERN COOKING IN PLAIN ENGLISH VIDEOS! In this video I've shown how to make quick pan fried boneless & skinless chicken thighs very easily using only the following ingredients and pieces of equipment:

Ingredients :

(For 2)
4-6 Boneless & Skinless Chicken Thighs
Olive (or any) Oil - enough to coat the pan bottom
1 Tablespoon Flour
Paprika
Garlic Powder
Salt
Ground Black Pepper

Equipment :

Large Frying Pan with Top
Tongs or 2 Forks (to turn the chicken in the pan)
Tablespoon
Plastic Bag
Sharp Knife

1. Warm the frying pan over medium heat on the stove.

2. Add the following to a plastic bag: 1 rounded tablespoon flour, a good shake of paprika and garlic salt, and a dash of salt and ground black pepper.

3. Add the chicken pieces, close the bag top snuggly and shake the bag until the chicken pieces are evenly coated with the above dry ingredients.

4. Check the frying pan for the right cooking temperature by wetting your fingers with tap water and flicking the water into the pan. The water should sizzle and evaporate quickly.

5. Add just enough olive (or any) oil to the pan to coat the pan bottom. Then add the chicken pieces so that they don't overlap and cover loosely with the pan top to allow steam to escape.

6. Cook until the chicken thigh bottoms start to brown and the edges of the chicken meat start to turn opaque (this should take 5-7 minutes). Turn the chicken pieces using either tongs or two forks in tong-like fashion.

7. Cook again until the chicken is browned on the bottom. To check for doneness, use a sharp knife to cut into the middle of the thickest chicken piece in the pan. Boneless and skinless chicken thighs are safely cooked through when the meat is uniformly grey and the meat juices are clear.

8. To make clean up as easy as possible, let the pan cool for a few minutes. Then grab a fat handful of paper towels and soak up as much oil from the warm pan as possible. Add dish soap and water to the pan. Let the pan sit until it is cool enough to touch and then finish cleaning with a dish brush and sponge. Rinse the pan clean.
