Instant Onion Dip(Includes Instant Dip: From Simple to Exciting)
Welcome to COOKING IN PLAIN ENGLISH VIDEOS! In this video I've shown how to make a quick & easy instant onion dip that goes great with chips or freshly cut vegetables (carrots, celery, sliced bell peppers, etc¡ÂÂÂ) and only requires the following ingredients and pieces of equipment:
Ingredients :
16 Ounces of Sour Cream 1 Packet of Instant Onion Soup Mix
Optional Ingredients :
Balsamic (or any) Vinegar Spiced Nuts Spice Mix (I used Bayou Cajun Seasoning but any will do) Grated Cheese (I used Parmesan cheese but any will work)
Equipment :
Mixing Bowl Spoon Sharp Knife (only for optional ingredients that need to be chopped) Cutting Board (only for optional ingredients that need to be chopped)
1. Empty both a 16 ounce container of sour cream and 1 packet of instant onion soup into a bowl and mix them together with a spoon until the soup mix powder is completely blended with the sour cream.
2. Either enjoy the onion dip as is or add your choice or a combination of the following "from simple to exciting" ingredients * Balsamic (or any) Vinegar - add to taste * Spiced Nuts - either add them as is or chop them to smaller pieces * Spice Mix - add to taste (use your favorite - I'm using Bayou Cajun Seasoning) * Grated Cheese - add to taste (use your favorite cheese, I'm using Parmesan) For more easy to follow Western Cooking in Plain English videos, please see http://wisdeo.com/cook/ To contact me directly, please either email me at bruce_tretter@wisdeo.com or connect via Twitter: @cookingvideos |
