ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Linda graduated with an Honors degree in Economics from Queen's University and worked in the stock market in Toronto, Canada for about 5 years. But after developing asthma and suffering burnout in an industry that centered on greed and lies, she decided to pack her bags and move to Japan. In Japan, away from everything that Linda knew to be "normal" she decided to seek out the answers to her health problems and found that there was a world of knowledge available that could help her. Linda found Nutrition. Earl Mindell's "Vitamin Bible" was the first book she read on the subject and this lead to an obsession to learn more in this vast field. Initially, Linda just wanted to get rid of her recently developed asthma and the eczema that had plagued her since childhood, but she soon discovered that she loved everything she was learning and wanted to share this new found knowledge with the world.
Eventually, this passion lead Linda to pursue a Diploma in Advanced Nutrition. In the process she became a Registered Sports Nutrition Advisor. Linda's thirst for knowledge continued to grow, so she went on to become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Most recently, Linda discovered the incredible science behind Metabolic Typing and has achieved the rank of Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor. Metabolic Typing truly considers the individual and the unique nutritional requirements that all people have. With the diagnostic tools used in Metabolic Typing, Linda has been able to take her Nutrition Practice to a new level.
Linda runs a very successful private Nutritional Counseling practice in Delta, BC along with working with a local Wellness Center.
Linda is eager to share with people all the knowledge that she has gathered and continues to learn to help her clients achieve the optimal health and wellness they desire.
